This micro-credential is the second level in a three-tier Global Competency pathway at Saint Michael's College. This badge recognizes participation in training that enhances understanding and appreciation of other cultures and perspectives on global issues and how actions affect local and international communities. The perspectives gained through this training are critical to participation in a culturally diverse global society and economy.

Earning Criteria

  • Participation in a rigorous, approved training, course, project, or organization that develops intercultural fluency, global learning, and intercultural and/or international collaboration.
  • Earners must plan and deliver a presentation, performance, or other creative expression reflecting their enhanced understanding of Global and Cross-Cultural Perspectives gained through their training.
  • Written reflection on the student's awareness of global issues and cultural diversity gained through their participation in an approved activity and information session and their plan to develop their Global Competency further.
