This micro-credential is the third level in a three-tier Global Competency pathway at Saint Michael's College. This badge recognizes enhanced Global Competency through participation in a Global Experience that results in intercultural fluency, resilience, and adaptability in contexts beyond the recipient's comfort zone. The knowledge and skills gained provide the earner with a level of Global Competency critical to their participation in a diverse global society and economy.

Earning Criteria

Required participation in an approved global experience (e.g., internship, student teaching, travel course, or semester abroad) that enhances awareness and understanding of international issues and perspectives.
The earner is required to plan and deliver a presentation, performance, or other creative expression that reflects on their Global Experience
Written reflection on how the earner's Global Experience enhanced their Global Competency skills and plans to reinforce and expand their Global Competency through future activities, coursework, experiences, and/or career goals.
