SDSU Experienced Peer Mentor (Level 2)

Experienced Peer Mentors who earn this badge have attended and completed requirements for Skilled Peer Mentor Level I. In addition, they have also completed training for Mentor Do’s and Don’ts and Communication Styles. At the end of each session, peer mentors are expected to evaluate their learning through a reflection form. In total, they must have two additional hours of training (beyond the Level I badge) plus 10 hours of direct application of knowledge with mentees.

Earning Criteria

Participants must attend at least five workshops offered by one of the SDSU Mentor & Success Coaching Collective members. They must also complete an assessment at the end of each topic learned. In addition, they must complete 10 hours of direct mentorship to their mentees.
