Caregiver/Personal Care Aide

This certificate program prepares students to assist the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities at the person's home or in a care facility. In a simulated care giving environment, students will gain experience performing caregiver duties, which may include nutrition, cleanliness, ambulation, and household activities.

To obtain this certificate, take THREE (3) courses. Must pass both VHLTH-109 and VHLTH-110, and one of the following courses VBUS-400 or ESL-520.
