Earners of the ESL Core Intermediate Certificate are students with knowledge of intermediate-level reading and writing strategies in English to communicate in many situations and in many places. Students will have the necessary language skills to prepare to take advanced-level ESL classes. And students will be prepared to enroll in other higher-level courses and programs as well as be able to have a meaningful discussion in civics and at the workplace.
