Graduates of the MSc in Statistical Science Specialisation in Data Science at the University of the Western Cape can identify, formulate and solve business problems using appropriate qualitative and quantitative tools. Graduates can conceptually design, develop and critically judge advanced statistically based models to solve real-world business problems using statistical tools, such as SAS and R and are equipped with the skills to efficiently manage a project from conception to execution.
