The SAFe® Premier Trainer recognition is awarded to trainers who are adept at preparing for and successfully delivering SAFe® courses. This credential helps trainers share their experience and success in leading SAFe® training that creates learner-based success. Earning this recognition is based on SAFe® training skills and competencies as well as demonstrating the ability and mindset to continue growing as a SAFe® trainer.

Earning Criteria

Earn an SPC or SPC-T certification and maintain credential in good standing.
Deliver a series of SAFe® courses including 3 Leading SAFe (SA) courses, 1 SAFe for Teams (SP) course, 1 SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) course, and 1 SAFE Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) course. Each course must have a minimum of 6 candidates.
Complete the Ready to Train online learning.
Hold a SPC/SPC-T certification by acquiring the current SAFe® certification or completing the latest SAFe Expert Upgrade online learning.
Complete an initial self-reflection of SAFe® training skills and competencies.
Collect feedback from learners. (Feedback must demonstrate that learners evaluate the trainer to be "meets expectations" or above).
Complete a personal development plan and additional self-reflection using the learner feedback.
