Intro to Design Principles (Design Kickstart)

The student has a foundational knowledge of design principles and the knowledge necessary to craft storyboards that are motion ready. The student has experience working with type, using contrast in design and understands figure-ground relationships. They know how to emphasize important elements, create good value structure, and simplify complex ideas in their work. The student is able to create a full set of design boards and design with large amounts of type.

Earning Criteria

Students submitted at least 70% of their assigned motion graphics pieces with original project files to their Teaching Assistant within the 8-week duration of the course.
