Students have successfully completed all eight modules of the Mind Over Money Skills financial literacy certification. Students have learned the importance of determining their financial values, goal setting, and developing a spending plan, student loan management, credit and debt management, insurance, homeownership, investing, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Earning Criteria

Register for the eight-module Mind Over Money Skills course.
Complete all eight modules of the SFEPD Mind Over Money Skills financial literacy certificate.
Students are assessed and learn key personal finance topics. Students must complete each of the eight modules: budgeting, values, and financial goal setting, student loan management, credit and debt management, insurance, homeownership, investing, retirement planning, and estate planning. To receive the financial literacy certificate, individuals must score at least 70% on each module.
