Earners of this badge have demonstrated the skills and knowledge required to advise customers on coffee beverages. Earners are able to organise a coffee workstation, select and grind coffee beans, extract and monitor the quality of espresso and skilled in the texture of milk. They are able to serve espresso coffee to customers in a professional manner and are proficient in the cleaning of espresso and other coffee related equipment.
Earning Criteria

Successfully completed the "Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee" module.

Knowledge on coffee, coffee brewing, coffee making and barista skills.

Work independently to complete at least 4 coffee service periods.

Completion of at least 2 service periods on at least 2 different machines.

Demonstration of peer training on at least 4 separate occasions.
