• The Shell.ai Awards celebrate our colleagues who think and dream big to take Shell’s digital transformation to the next level. It acknowledges the application of digital technologies for path-breaking achievements and front-running tech innovations that help Shell transition to a net-zero emissions energy business. Shell.ai is a change programme which is designed to support the adoption of digital technologies at scale across Shell.
• Robin Balyan led the software architecture design and the build out of the foundational elements of an application which will transform safety in assets. This application demonstrates the feasibility of using Machine Vision, the Internet of Things and wearable devices to alert workers of potential “line of fire” hazards.
