Earners of this badge have a fundamental understanding of the STAR-CCM+ simulation environment and the ability to complete tasks independently in conjunction with the Resistance Theory course at Inha University. They understand the correct application of the principal features of the STAR-CCM+ and are able to model 3D computational domain to simulate the floating body (e.g. ship) in a virtual towing tank and predict the fluid-structure interactions.
