In this three-day program, individuals learned the foundational skills necessary to master public speaking. This program included confident and concise communication skills, 10 strategies to improve speaking skills and a 7-step format for creating impactful presentations. This program was a combination of live online lectures, in-session activities & post-session homework, and ended with a presentation to put participants' new skills to practice.

Earning Criteria

Participants were required to take part in a 3-day session. Each of these sessions (90mins) built upon skills from the previous day and included post-session homework. The session topics In order: Confident & Concise Communication, Public Speaking: Part 1, and Public Speaking: Part 2.

The participant was given a workbook to be completed alongside the course. In this workbook, they completed many practical activities such as: making sentences more concise, practicing how to make speech more conversational, creating a 1-2min presentation, delivering a 2-3 minute talk, and more.
