Students in this course will first be grounded in ethical theories, and learn how these have changed as the world of business has changed throughout history. Students will then understand how to identify the various stakeholders in a business and how to weigh their importance in making decisions; consider how corporate social responsibility (CSR) is now as important as profits in how businesses are run and how they are evaluated by investors; and weigh the pros and cons of environmental policy.
