Gas Processes and Facilities - Fluids - Refrigeration
Issued by
Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
This course describes the two main refrigeration processes used in the natural gas industry. External processes include propane refrigeration systems used for the extraction of liquid petroleum gases (propane and butane) from natural gas. Cryogenic processes create extremely low temperatures and are used for the production of natural gas liquids in deep-cut facilities. Learn about the different operations and the safety considerations for cold processes.
