Earning Criteria

• Through weekly assignments, quizzes, in-class coding discussions, a class project, and a final exam, learners: declare and assign variables of different data types; use appropriate tools to edit, compile, and run Python programs; implement at least one program that incorporates control statements; implement at least one program that incorporates looping structures; create functions and parameter passing; use files and exceptions; and implement lists, tuples, strings, dictionaries, and sets.
