St. John’s University workshop focused on Participatory Action Research (PAR) methods in the context of Education in Emergencies (EIE). Participants achieve the following: 1. Gain an understanding of Education in Emergencies (EIE) as an international development policy approach. 2. Master the fundamentals of Participatory Action Research (PAR) as an anti-oppressive form of collaborative, scientific research. 3. Learn how to design their own PAR intervention regarding an EIE research question.
