This leadership badge is based on the work of Brendan Burchard "Student leadership" which speaks to the fact that leadership doesn’t come from a particular personality style or position, it’s a set of skills and practises and can be learned. He taught us that leaders enjoy more success when they think of their team as collaborators rather than followers, and focus on creating a transformative, empowering, experience for their team, that keeps their team engaged and inspired by their work.

Earning Criteria

Envision a preferred solution and create goals and strategies to achieve that vision.
Identify key drivers that they need to enlist and ensures that the right people are enlisted in developing their preferred future
Embody and model the practices that are necessary to achieve this change - ie, "leading by example"
Empowers others to achieve similar goals. Servant leaders find out what other people need and what they aspire to achieve, and help them to do so.
