Lineworker Training Program

This program prepares students for utility-industry careers, emphasizing high-demand lineworker skills, including classroom and hands-on pole yard training. The program is divided into three parts: A six-week program introduction with intensive hands-on and classroom instruction; a 12-week paid internship with NYSEG across NYS, which allows students to apply what they’ve learned in the field; followed by additional classroom time and pole yard training to solidify skills.
