Electrocardiography Technician

This course prepares students to enter the healthcare industry as a registered ECG technician and participate in a nationally recognized certification exam. Students learn basic operation and performance for conducting the ECG procedure, recognize common dysrhythmias and the significance of waveforms produced by a 12-lead ECG. Students also learn related terminology and the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system.
