Earning Criteria

The participants completed the 4-days course in "Crisis Communication Basic" at LCC (Leadership and communication training command).

The participants have analysed aspects, course and dynamics of crises and disasters on the basis of real case studies and got to know the communication concept according to the 4-point concept.

The participants achieved the following training objectives: 1) Understand the dynamics of crises and disasters. 2) Are able to apply instruments and methods of crisis communication in a goal-oriented manner and use personal strategies in a considered manner. 3) Are prepared to recognise and reflect on their own possibilities and limitations in crisis situations.
Standards
This CAS is a joint training programme of the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the Swiss Armed Forces, Leaderhsip and Communications Training Command. The LCC is responsible for organising and running the courses. Those who have successfully completed all six course modules and meet the admission requirements can take the CAS final e
