To complete this program, the earner has applied tools and techniques of innovation and entrepreneurship to create an innovative solution to a complex problem. During the workshops earners rapidly discover and validate problems, identify opportunities for innovation, work with a team to prototype solutions using physical and digital methods, develop an appropriate business model, and communicate and present their new idea engagingly and compellingly to gain support for the proposed innovation.

Earning Criteria

In small groups, participants completed the following elements as a part of their portfolio of work. Articulated the "problem statement" relating to the complex problem they are creating an innovative solution for, compiled and analysed one form of "validation" to support the effectiveness of their solution and created a paper prototype (sketch) of their innovative solution.
