Earning Criteria

• This individual has successfully completed an industry-accredited degree apprenticeship which proved that they can:
• Understand how business exploits technology solutions for competitive advantage.
• Design, implement, test and debug software to meet business and technical requirements, and specify, configure and deploy technology solutions.
• Model and implement database solutions, manage data effectively and securely, and undertake data analysis.
• Risk assess a simple IT system, and identify threats to current or planned systems and services.
• Apply an understanding of organisational theory, change management, marketing, strategic practice, human resource management and IT service management to technology solutions development.
• Manage small IT projects to meet business needs, including planning, execution, control, risk management and closure, utilising industry standard methodologies and tools.
• Plan, design and manage computer networks to deliver business value.
• Communicate fluently, including articulating complex issues, making presentations, influencing others, and providing and receiving feedback.
• Apply analytical and critical thinking to solutions development, conduct effective research, and secure commitment to solutions with basic negotiation skills.
