Earning Criteria

• This individual has successfully completed an industry-accredited degree which proved the following knowledge and skills:
• A fundamental understanding of business strategy and processes, the role and management of information systems in business, information security and risk management.
• The ability to apply IT consulting methodologies to deliver business improvement, including interacting with clients, influencing action and managing scope.
• An understanding of how to deliver sustainable change management, taking account of technical, cultural and environmental factors.
• The ability to construct a basic business investment case for a new technology solution, to manage budgets, and to understand basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of the technical foundations of systems analysis and design, software development, data management, service delivery, operations management and systems integration.
• Familiarity with different enterprise architecture models, including how to describe the structure and behaviour of applications, consumption of data and interactions with users.
• Understanding of the principles of IT Operations management to support business processes and customer service; the fundamentals of software testing and solution evaluation; and the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• The ability to design a simple network and cloud-hosted virtual environment, based on an understanding of distributed computing for digital network and cloud computing systems and their security.
• The ability to apply modern project management methodologies to plan, deliver, manage risk and report on a technology-enabled project to achieve organisational goals.
• Professional skills including written and verbal communications, teamwork, evidence-based problem solving and effective work behaviours.
