Understand how business exploits technology solutions for competitive advantage.

Design, implement, test and debug software to meet business and technical requirements, and specify, configure and deploy technology solutions.

Model and implement database solutions, manage data effectively and securely, and undertake data analysis.

Risk assess a simple IT system, and identify threats to current or planned systems and services.

Apply an understanding of organisational theory, change management, marketing, strategic practice, human resource management and IT service management to technology solutions development.

Manage small IT projects to meet business needs, including planning, execution, control, risk management and closure, utilising industry standard methodologies and tools.
