Earners of the OLAN Deployment Knowledge badge have been introduced to the knowledge needed to understand the architecture and applications of the Tellabs Optical LAN system. This knowledge includes the basic workings of the system, its relationship to the network, and a variety of parts and components of the system. These objectives relate specifically to the end-user opperation of the Tellabs Optical LAN system.
