Earning Criteria

• To register for this micro-credential, contact the office of Career Connections via email at careers@twu.edu or Aimee Laun at alaun@twu.edu
• As part of the micro-credential co-curricular learning experience, students will learn and apply the 8 NACE competencies: Career and Self-development, Communication, Critical Thinking, Leadership, Professionalism, Equity and Inclusion, Teamwork, and Technology. Activities will include completing LinkedIn Learning courses (2 minimum), participating in Career Connections-sponsored events and workshops (1 minimum), and completing a resume review and mock interview with a TWU Career Consultant.
• Earners of this micro-credential will have demonstrated career readiness by creating a resume, developing an elevator pitch, participating in a mock interview, applying best practices in creating their LinkedIn profile, and finding internships. In addition, they will demonstrate an improvement of at least 10% in their self-confidence in navigating the job market, as measured by pre-and post-assessment scores. • For the micro-credential to be awarded and the badge issued, students must show proof of completion to the TWU Career Consultant. These include validation of the LinkedIn Learning Certificate(s). The Career Consultant will verify Career Connections sponsored workshop/event attendance, resume and mock interview, and completion of reflective survey.
