This micro-credential is awarded to eligible undergraduate students participating in one of the JNIWL Center for Student Leadership co-curricular programs who have completed the qualifying activities in three progressive advanced levels of leadership throughout their undergraduate years. Students earning this micro-credential will have completed a wide array of education, experiential learning, leadership development, and service, distinguishing themselves as leaders in their industry.

Earning Criteria

This micro-credential is available only for undergraduate students in one of the JNIWL Center for Student Leadership co-curricular programs. These programs include Legacy Leaders, Presidents Leadership Council (PLC), or Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK).

Eligible students must submit an application confirming that they have completed the qualifying activities in three progressively advanced levels of leadership during their undergraduate years. For more information on the advanced levels of leadership, contact Lawrencina Oramalu at loramalu@twu.edu

Students must submit a peer evaluation and a professional (supervisor/professor) evaluation in which they are rated in the following areas: Confidence, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Connections. In addition to the numerical assessment, evaluators can submit a supplemental recommendation letter.

Students who earn this micro-credential will have the knowledge, skills, and competencies to distinguish themselves as leaders and empower students.
