COMPETENCIES: Badge owner demonstrates fundamental competence in the following skill areas: 5-star guest relations; property knowledge; research methods; itinerary creation; food, leisure, and entertainment recommendations; global guests and guest diversity; conflict management; safety and security. A passing course grade of 73% is required.

COURSEWORK: Badge owner completed a project involving research, critical evaluation, and professional responsiveness as a Hotel Concierge regarding guest case study in order to create a comprehensive itinerary. Success is measured by budget management, knowledge of property and city offerings, professional discernment in recommendations related to property revenue, appropriateness, timing, and guest satisfaction.
