Earning Criteria

• COMPETENCIES: Badge owner demonstrates fundamental competence in the following skill areas: etiquette and ceremony; cultural/religious traditions and ceremonies; proposal writing; wedding invitations; wedding attire and care; wedding cake, menu, and beverage planning; floral and decorative elements; linen and table settings; reception planning; photography and videography; vendor selection; green weddings; destination and fantasy weddings; hotel weddings; budgeting; staffing and timeline.
• COURSEWORK: Badge owner completed a project by creating a portfolio and presentation of a formal wedding that they have designed. This real world project will test thier knowledge and skills in wedding coordination and design but will also test thier ability to professional present themselves and thier ideas to potential clients.
• ABOUT TISOH: The International School of Hospitality, accredited by ACCET, licensed by the NV Commission on Postsecondary Education, and SEVIS approved, is dedicated to training individuals for careers in hospitality-related industries.
