Earning Criteria

Badge earners spent 8-10 weeks in a summer research program. Badge earners worked on an independent research project and presented their work as a poster or oral presentation at The Leadership Alliance National Symposium (LANS).

Badge earners engaged in weekly professional development workshops to increase their understanding of careers in research fields and how to pursue and acquire the degrees and experiences necessary to succeed in those careers.
