Badge earners have proven to have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the changes introduced to the ArchiMate Body of Knowledge in the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification. This credential is required for trainers to be authorized to deliver Accredited Training Courses based on the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification.
Earning Criteria

The earner has attended a minimum of three (3) hours training on the subject and passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.1 assessment.

Applicants are required to be certified to ArchiMate 3 Practitioner (ArchiMate 3 Level 2).

The path to achieve the ArchiMate Essentials 3.1 credential is to complete the Learning Units defined in the Conformance Requirements document and a pass result for the ArchiMate Essentials 3.1 assessment.

Candidates are required to have passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.1 assessment. The assessment consists of 20 questions in multiple-choice format with a 75% pass mark (15/20).

The duration of the credential is indefinite – this credential is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.
