Earning Criteria

Certification is open to all applicants – there is no requirement for any previous certification.
To achieve certification the individual must complete the Learning Units defined in the Conformance Requirements Document and pass the Open Agile Architecture Practitioner examination.
Course Syllabus: The role of architecture when deploying Agile at scale • Insights into business agility • Intentional Architecture and Continuous Product Development • Characteristics of an Agile organization • Open Agile Architecture building blocks • Axioms for Agile Architecture • The mental model for Agile Architecture • Digital Transformation and digital products • Lean Value Stream Mapping • Types of Agile Architecture, and when to apply them • Agile Security Architecture.
Individuals are required to have passed the Open Agile Architecture Practitioner examination. The examination consists of 40 questions in multiple choice format with a 70% pass mark.
The duration of certification is indefinite – certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.
