Community integration means helping a person supported become a part of their local community through valued roles and relationships. This course will teach the tools and resources to help a person develop social relationships with others by encouraging their interests and align them with social activities and/or work. This will include determining their preferences, gifts, likes and dislikes then orienting informal and formal community supports.
