The earner helps empower and assist the person to advocate for what they need; provides help with informed decisions and communication with the team; identifies, supports, and reports the removal of barriers that affect opportunities (e.g., training needs); provides a supported decision-making process; recognizes organizations and provides information to the person and family related to protection, advocacy, and rights.
