Foundational Leadership Certification for Personnel

Issued by Leadership Development | The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda

Earners of this badge learn essential leadership skills like providing feedback, EDJI awareness, working through difficult interactions, and taking a coaching approach to leadership. Participants will complete six Harvard ManageMentor® courses, create and implement On-The-Job Action Plans, and collaborate with other leaders from The Salvation Army through online workshops, where the content will be connected to the support provided by the Human Resources and Officer Personnel departments.

Earning Criteria

Complete 6 Harvard ManageMentor® courses including Leading People, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. Difficult Interactions, and Coaching.
Complete an assessment at the end of each course to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of leadership best practices.
Participate in 3 interactive online Leadership Café Workshops on a variety of topics (90 min. each).
Create and implement On-The-Job Action Plans
