The Storyteller badge is for faculty who wish to create a more engaging classroom atmosphere through the inclusion of storytelling techniques. Storytelling is re-emerging as an important skill for educators to foster an empathetic and inclusive environment.

The workshop consists of five modules with discussions, journal prompts, and assignments that scaffold to the final storytelling assignment and presentation.

Badges are an optional benefit offered to faculty and are not required for UOPX facilitation; applying for a badge is considered a non-compensable activity. Badge awards are not a factor in Classroom Performance Reviews or other assessments of faculty performance; faculty must satisfy all performance standards and expectations of their role regardless of any badges earned.
