The Fundamentals of Financial Planning Training is a Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) workshop within the UNDP Future Tourism Business Adaptation Programme designed, developed and delivered by The University of the West Indies, the Frankfurt School and the United Nations Development Programme. This training was developed to expose MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean to user friendly financial planning techniques for tourism businesses at a fundamental level.

Earning Criteria

Participants completed a 4 week, 16 contact hour workshop where they learned to at a fundamental level ● Demonstrate understanding of key finance concepts in businesses ● Determine improvement in financial performance by application of key finance concepts ● Create a financial plan to reflect, restart and revitalise the business and to adapt business performance to the new market conditions.
