The Fundamentals of Marketing Training is a Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) workshop within the UNDP Future Tourism Business Adaptation Programme designed, developed and delivered by The University of the West Indies, the Frankfurt School and the United Nations Development Programme. This training was developed to expose MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean to user friendly digital technologies for tourism businesses at a fundamental level.

Earning Criteria

Participants completed a 4 week, 16 contact hour workshop where they learned to ● Demonstrate understanding of tourism marketing concepts ● Distinguish between product and services marketing concepts ● Aligning the business to the new market trends ● Restore and build traveler confidence ● Create marketing campaign for passenger transport, tours, hotel or restaurant.
