Strategic Planning & Management is a course within the Development Management Programme. This course expose participants to the skills and knowledge required to function strategically in the modern management environment. Participants focus on the longer term ramifications of managerial decision-making. It involves long term focusing of resources and processes and considers the organisation as a whole entity interacting within a dynamic social, economic, political and competitive environment.

Earning Criteria

Participants must have completed the prerequisite courses within the Development Management Programme. Development Management is a CPE Programme curated by The UWI Open Campus in collaboration with the Climate Resilience Execution Agency in Dominica (CREAD) to up-skill public sector officials in Dominica with the capacity to effectively manage projects and services that address the development needs of the country of Dominica.
