The Caribbean Economy is a course within the Development Management Programme. This training introduces students to the unique characteristics of the Caribbean economy which highlighted the challenges and opportunities. Participants will also be exposed to the impact of globalisation on the small economies of the Caribbean. The concepts of the challenges and possibilities associated with economic integration within the region are also explored during learning.

Earning Criteria

Participants must be enrolled in the Development Management Professional Education Programme. This programme is a CPE training curated by The UWI Open Campus in collaboration with the Climate Resilience Execution Agency in Dominica (CREAD) to up-skill public sector officials in Dominica with the capacity to effectively manage projects and services that address the development needs of the country of Dominica.
