In this government funded Trades Academy Secondary School course, the learner gained skills in: hand and power tools, plans, working with others and completing building projects. Students attend classes once a week for 28 weeks

Learners have been assessed and can demonstrate knowledge of, select, maintain, and use hand tools for BCATS projects ; are able to calculate quantities and prepare an order for materials for a non-consent timber framed utility building; set out and construct a non-consent timber framed utility building as a BCATS project; and complete work operations;

Learners have been assessed and can identify, describe, select, use and maintain portable power tools for the construction of BCATS projects; can receive instructions, and communicate information related to BCATS projects
