Earners of the Trades Academy Te Toi Whakairo NCEA Levels 2 badge have experienced working in the Māori Arts and design field through Hawkes Bay School’s Trades Academy at EIT (Eastern Institute of Technology). Learners have developed theoretical and practical knowledge about Māori design and art elements, as well as gained skills in Māori design practices. They have also learnt karakia and tikanga in relation to Māori visual art.
