LXF 3 | Scaffolding Knowledge and Practice for Student Success - Learning is a constant process of scaffolding ideas. The ability to guide students through this process from foundations to mastery, without overwhelming them, is key to quality instruction. This seminar will uncover the learning science behind the concepts of cognitive load and leveraging prior knowledge, while also creating challenging and deliberate practice opportunities for students.

In this seminar we will examine the principles of "FEEL" by discussing students' intrinsic motivation, self-regulated learning, and learning goals & mindsets, plus explore how to apply these principles during your live sessions.

In this seminar we will dive into the teaching tactics, backed by learning science, that will help you lean on your audience to facilitate social learning, formative feedback, and metacognition opportunities for the classroom.

Join us as we dive into utilizing the theories of Complexity, Modality, and Storytelling in the digital classroom.
