The student will be knowledgeable regarding health care professionals’ roles in improving patient outcomes, protecting breastfeeding, and ensuring equitable access to this vital “human medicine.” Students will be able to explain how basic science, pharmaceutical, clinical, social, and public health information can promote, protect and support breastfeeding. Students will evaluate the responsibilities of health care teams in the management of breastfeeding.

Earning Criteria

Learners participate in an online educational module which requires learners to complete a pre-test and a post-test for each of the five cases included in the module. Learners are required to pass the post tests with an average score of 80%.
