UMMC ASB Interprofessional Education Series 2021-2022 - Session 1
The ASB IPE Series at UMMC is a program of presentations/panels focused on instilling the value of team-based patient care, which requires true collaboration and interprofessionalism among all health care professions, even those not directly involved in patient care, represented on the UMMC campus. Each session focuses on addressing Interprofessional Education Competencies.

Earners must attend the panel discussion on Interprofessional Volunteerism and Competency: Roles and Responsibilities for Collaborative Practice Objectives. Learning objectives include: Identify strengths and challenges of interprofessional collaboration in a student-run free clinic; Determine ways that interprofessional collaboration helps serve the underserved populations; Reflect on the roles of students in fostering a collaborative interprofessional environment in clinical practices.

Earners must respond to a reflection assignment regarding what ways we can, working in health care teams, serve underserved populations. Response must include the learner's own personal role in this responsibility. Score of 100 % is required to earn the credential.
