Issued by
University at Albany, SUNY
Learners explored the critical aspects of developing and sustaining strategic and productive international partnerships as it relates to their own institution. Through analysis of case studies, learners examined common models of structuring, contracting and evaluating international partnerships and the infrastructure needed to do so. They also developed protocols for leading and hosting international delegations, as well as tracking and reporting on international activities.

Learners are existing International Education professionals who participated in five interactive virtual workshops reviewing the role of partnerships in global engagement strategies and reviewing current partnerships at the learner's organization. As a culminating project learners developed an International Partnership rubric to evaluate and structure prospective international partnerships, develop contracts, and operationalize these relationships, and track and report international activities.
