ETHICS TRAINING - Learning Objectives: 1. Define and understand the definition and principles of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) according to National Institute of Health (NIH) guidelines for instruction and subject matter 2. Develop strategies for the practical application of RCR knowledge to prevent research misconduct. COURSE COMPONENT: (ONE) Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) Responsible Conduct of Research, as required, RCR, HSR, GCP and/or IACUC.
ETHICS TRAINING - Learning Objectives: 1. Define and understand the principles of research according to NIH guidelines for instruction and subject matter 2. Develop strategies for the practical application of research integrity and prevent research misconduct. COURSE COMPONENT - (ONE) CTSI Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop Series
BASIC CLINICAL AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH COURSE: Objectives 1. Understand the scope and value of clinical and translational research 2. Understand the basic application of clinical and translational research. COURSE COMPONENT (ONE): The University of Rochester Intro to Translational Science Coursera Course
CLINICAL AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH WORKSHOPS: Learning Objectives: 1. Develop skills and knowledge relating to career advancement in clinical and translational science. COURSE COMPONENT (TWO): Complete a minimum of 2 one-hour CTSI Professional Development Workshops of your choice.
CLINICAL AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH WORKSHOPS: Learning Objectives: 1. Develop skills and knowledge relating to mentorship and leadership in clinical and translational science including. COURSE COMPONENT (ONE): Complete Mentor-Protégé Mentoring Workshop Series. Five workshops in total.
CORE COMPETENCIES WORKSHOP SERIES Learning Objectives: 1. Develop skills and knowledge relating to career advancement in clinical and translational science. COURSE COMPONENTS (THREE): Complete the following three workshop series 1. BERD Mini Series Research Bootcamp, 2. Translational Teamwork (online) and 3. Scientific Communication.
