Offered by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, this badge provides recognition of skills in communicating the ways that principles of ethics are integrated into the design, conduct, oversight and dissemination of research. Badge earners are able to identify conflicts of interest and methods to ensure ethical procedures are used with animals and human participants, as well as criteria for determination of authorship and the role of peer review in funding and publication.
