Earning Criteria
-
Working with Startup Company: Earners engaged with their startup company throughout a 12-week period and carried out the work presented by their point of contact. They completed work on time and were a high-quality representative of the Students to Startups program, UAF (Alaska Center ICE), and the startup itself. Earners showed the progress of the project and built completed components for the startup to apply to its day-to-day operations.
-
Teamwork and Project Management: Earner was actively involved in the team project throughout the internship period. Each earner had a team role and completed project work given to them by the Students to Startups team. The earner showed progress during the teamwork to complete the work on time and managed their team with the other commitments over the 12 weeks (working with startup; attending learning and social events; engaging with cohort and local ecosystem).
-
Communication and Presentation Skills: At the end of the program, earners shared a presentation of their involvement, contributions, and knowledge gained during the internship project and were part of a team presentation. Earners communicated during the learning sessions on their experiences with the startup, answered the weekly questions where responses were provided by their startups, and were engaged with the Students to Startups team through the virtual platforms used over the 12 weeks.
